How old do you have to be to fly by yourself on transatlantic flights

How old do you have to be to fly by yourself on transatlantic flights?
I'm 16 years old and I'm flying to Helsinki and then St. Petersburg with Finnair. Do you need you parent's permission? Last year I flew with British Airways and didn't have any problems.

Each airline have their own policies. Just contact Finnair. Rule of thumb: 16 yrs old.
